About Dr. Krishna Dhoot – Cardiologist in Pune
Most people don’t think much about their heart until something feels off a tightness in the chest, a test result that raises questions, a family history that finally catches up with them. That’s usually when they end up in front of Dr. Krishna Dhoot.
He’s spent the last 18 years working almost entirely in interventional cardiology, which is a fairly specific corner of medicine. Rather than treating the heart through open surgery, his work is done through catheters, smaller incisions, faster recovery, and in many cases, results that used to require a much bigger operation. Over the years, that’s added up to more than 30,000 angiographies and 10,000 angioplasties, along with a long list of more complex procedures. He currently runs Hrudaysparsh Heart Care Centre in Hadapsar as its Director, and also consults at several of Pune’s better-known hospitals.

Meet Dr. Krishna Dhoot
Ask Dr. Dhoot how he ended up in cardiology, and he’ll probably tell you it wasn’t a single dramatic moment, but rather a steady pull toward a field where precision and patient trust matter in equal measure. That pull took him through Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka, where he finished his MBBS in 2003, followed by a DNB in Medicine in 2007. From there, he trained in DNB Cardiology at Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bangalore, one of the country’s better-regarded cardiac institutes, completing that in 2011.
Along the way, he picked up two international fellowships worth mentioning: one from the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and another from the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (FSCAI). Neither is handed out casually; both reflect years of sustained clinical work and recognition from peers outside India as well.
Today, alongside his role at Hrudaysparsh, he’s affiliated with Sahyadri Hospital, Inamdar Hospital, Noble Hospital, Ruby Hall Clinic, Vishwaraj Hospital, and Poona Hospital. In practice, that means a patient who starts with a simple consultation at the clinic has a direct line to hospital-level care if it’s ever needed without having to explain their case to someone new.
“After eighteen years of this work, I’ve learned that most patients don’t just want a diagnosis; they want someone to walk them through it honestly. That’s what I try to do every single day.”
— Dr. Krishna Dhoot, Interventional Cardiologist

Achievements & Recognitions
Over the years, Dr. Dhoot’s work has picked up a few notable milestones:
Why Choose Us
Depth of Experience
Eighteen years is long enough to have seen nearly every variation of coronary disease walk through the door, and to know which approach actually fits which patient.
Access to Advanced Technology
Diagnostic and treatment tools that keep pace with where interventional cardiology is heading, not just where it’s been.
A Clinic That Listens First
Consultations here aren’t rushed. Explaining a diagnosis clearly is treated as part of the treatment, not an afterthought.
A Bigger-Picture View of Heart Health
Procedures matter, but so does what happens after — which is why prevention and lifestyle guidance are part of the conversation, not a footnote.
